EGMF and its partner associations CECE, CEMA, FEM, EUnited Municipal Equipment, EUROMOT and EUROPGEN updated the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document on the NRMM Regulation (EU) 2017/1628, as well as the market surveillance guide identifying non-road mobile machinery and engines compliant with this regulation. The Regulation (EU) 2017/1628 sets emission limits for NRMM engines for different power ranges and applications.
The key changes introduced are primarily editorial in order to bring the two guides up-to-date, following the publication of the Regulation (EU) 2020/1040 amending the transitional provisions in view of the COVID-19 crisis. This amending regulation extended by 12 months the 30th June and 1st December 2020 deadlines for the production and placing on the market of NRMM fitted with transition engines in the power ranges <56kW >130kW. Therefore, the relevant production and placing on the market dates were amended in the two guides. Other changes were also aligning the tables and graphs in both documents to ensure consistency and better readability.
