Position paper on the draft Delegated Regulation amending the Regulation on Persistent Organic Pollutants
EGMF welcomes the opportunity to comment on the European Commission’s draft delegated regulation which adds Medium-Chain Chlorinated Paraffins (MCCPs) to the list of persistent organic pollutants subject to use and marketing restrictions.
Our position calls for a clear and exhaustive scope of substances, the inclusion of derogations for spare parts, and a general transition period of 18 months.
